Problem Statement/Restraints: In this part of of the project we were to create the sequential part of the Digital Game Board Counter. The sequential part of the board depends on the inputs to provided an output using Flip Flops in the circuit.
First Ideas/Brainstorming: There wasn't any brainstorming required in this project, we followed a set of instructions Calculations/Documents: No calculations took place in this portion of the activity, but we did have to record two ouputs into a table when we toggled the simulation.
Final Design: The Sequential portion of the Board Game counter was built starting out with a SPDT switch, connected to a power source of VCC 5V and a ground. There are 3 different flip flops in this portion that are each connected to a probe. The Flip flops go every other clock pulse, every two clock pulses and the last one is every fourth clock pulse. This part of the project creates a basic binary counter.
Reflection: If i could redo this project i most definitely would, i would straighten up some wires here and there. But i would redo it because i now understand it a little better. When i first made it i had no clue what i was making but now i do. This part of the board is the part the produces the binary counting.
