Combinational Logic Section of Digital Board Game
Problem statement/Restraints:
The goal of this portion of the project is to create part of the circuit that could take an input of binary numbers and turn certain lights on or off. This creates the lights on the actual dice itself.
First Ideas/Brainstorming:
There was not any brainstorming done in this procedure. To create the circuit we were provided with a set of instruction that included an example picture we could refer to when building the circuit in MultiSim. Multisim was the CDS that we used.
Calculation/Documentation:
No calculations took place in this portion of this assignment.
Final Design:
In this portion of the project we were instructed to create the circuit below in Multisim. This is the the combinational portion of the project. Using the switches to determine the combinations that will allow for a light to turn on
Reflection:
I understood this part of the project the most. Mostly because it was the easiest to visually follow. I don't i would redo this part of the project if i had the opportunity because i spent time constructing it neatly. I really liked the way we replaced the inverters with probes because it was fun seeing the different numbers appear on the dice when you toggled the switches.
